Earlier in the year, we reported that both Arianna Huffington and Jesse Ventura had shot /jesse-ventura-reveals-the-secret-behind-the-wachowskis-futuristic-war-movie/footage for an Untitled Lana and Andy Wachowski Project that was described as a sci-fi Iraqi war film. New information regarding the secret movie has come forth from Deadline New York.
The scenes with Huffington and Ventura were shot as test footage for a script that the siblings just recently completed. They are now in the process of trying to sell that script to financers. The story is being described as a Hard R gay love story that takes place in the future. Told in a cinema-verite style, the plot chronicles a U.S. soldier and his homosexual relationship with an Iraqi. Lana and Andy Wachowski are hoping to co-direct the feature in the very near future.
Not much more is known about the film, except that it is expected to challenge viewers in the same way their earlier lesbian crime drama Bound and their sci-fi masterpiece The Matrix did some years ago.
