Beyond Dead City, the franchise is preparing for the debut of several other spin-offs that will follow the adventures of some of the most popular characters from the original series.

Norman Reedus will return on his show as Daryl Dixon, who washes up on the coast of France and struggles to piece together how he got there and why. The series follows his journey through a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find his way back home. However, as he makes his way back, the connections he forms along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

Finally, after canceling the Rick-centric movie, Andrew Lincoln's character will return alongside Danai Gurira's Michonne in a miniseries that will follow their stories into a new chapter of their lives.

Meanwhile, Fear the Walking Dead, the franchise's first spin-off, will come to an end this year after seven seasons. The new episodes will premiere in May.

The Walking Dead: Dead City premieres on AMC on June 18.
