The Weinstein Co. is getting into TV in a big way.

In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, ImaginAsian TV has entered into a 5 year pact with The Weinstein Co..

"It's a tremendous commitment they are making," states Michael Hong, CEO for ImaginAsian. "They are the premier distributor for Asian titles, both in terms of reach and visibility."

Genius Products will handle the distribution of "ImaginAsian's large and growing library of Asian titles and original programming, while ImaginAsia will be responsible for marketing, packaging and nurturing titles."

Hong states, "It is not good enough to pick the right titles anymore. Now you need the right marketing solution. Imagin-Asian can provide the care and attention those titles deserve."
