Bridie Clark's novel I Think She's Got It hasn't even hit stores yet, and it has already been optioned for an adaptation by The Weinstein Company. According to Variety, the company acquired both publishing and screen rights.

The novel has been described as a modern day Pygmalion. The plot revolves around a shy small-town girl that gets transformed into a sophisticated socialite by a dashing young businessman.

Weinstein Books will publish the novel in 2009. It has not yet been decided if the property will be turned into a television series or a feature film. No start date has been set at this time.
