Netflix has just released the first teaser for the (Big breath!) The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window. Thank goodness it's a series coming to Netflix because theaters would run out of letters for the marquee! Kristen Bell stars in what looks to be a comedy thriller, though the teaser doesn't show all of the series' cards. Anna (Bell) plays our Jeff Jefferies (Jimmy Stewart) ala Rear Window, and she spies out of her window, drinking her wine. Then? Murder across the street! With the funny title homage to Rear Window and the one-liners, you can feel the wink implied. I could be wrong; we might all be having nightmares come January!

The official synopsis reads, "For heartbroken Anna (Kristen Bell), every day is the same. She sits with her wine, staring out the window, watching life go by without her. But when a handsome neighbor (Tom Riley) and his adorable daughter move in across the street, Anna starts to see a light at the end of the tunnel. That is until she witnesses a gruesome murder... Or did she?"

Bell took to Twitter to share the teaser, captioning it with, "When it rains, she pours. The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window premieres January 28 on Netflix! @NetflixIsAJoke."

The Bell-ievers can't wait for the series! "Frozen, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Veronica Mars, the infamous sloth video, it is hard NOT to be a fan of her tbqh"

Tim started the hard-hitting questions about the cookware with, "What was the casserole dish budget for that production? :)"

Susan is concerned, too! "The amount of corningware broken in this clip is a shame. LOL Just kidding. Looking forward to watching this. "

Melissa is downright distraught! "The Corning Ware carnage is just too much for me to bear."

I had no idea when I was watching folks would be so concerned with the crockery! Dominic says, "I'm going to watch just to find out why your character hates casserole dishes."

Kristen Bell has two projects coming down the pipeline. First, a comedy, titled The People We Hate at the Wedding. Directed by Claire Scanlon and starring Allison Janney, Tony Goldwyn and Ben Platt, the film centers on family tensions that ramp up among siblings in the week leading up to their half-sister's wedding in the country. In the musical Molly and the Moon, starring alongside Jonathan Groff, Bell will help tell the story of a baby struggling to survive to go home with its parents and start life.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window also stars Mary Holland, Michael Ealy, Cameron Britton, Shelley Hennig, Christina Anthony, Tom Riley and Benjamin Levy Aguilar. Kristen Bell executive produces the series alongside Will Ferrell, Jessica Eibaum and Brittney Segal for Gloria Sanchez Productions.

The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window premieres on January 28, only on Netflix.
