Together, they defy impossible odds, breaking new ground in medicine and science, and achieving more than they could ever have dreamed.

Our exclusive scene showcases Jane (Felicity Jones) helping her husband Stephen Hawking (Eddie Redmayne) into the car. James Marsh explains that the scene didn't make it into the film because, "it felt too long," but adds that the scene has "real power" and that they ended up just using the very end of this scene in the final film.
