ThinkFilm has bought the rights to the comedy, The TV Set.

The film was written and directed by Jake Kasden about his experiences working in television on such shows as Freaks and Geeks; the film stars David Duchovny and Sigourney Weaver. The Hollywood Reporter says it chronicles the trials of an idealistic writer (Duchovny) who watches his dream TV project slowly dismantled by a barrage of industry executives, including a network president (Weaver) whose lineup features such breakout hits as 'Slut Wars.'

The TV Set will hit theaters in next spring.
