The long wait for the official trailer to 3 from Hell is finally almost over, as Rob Zombie is promising it will be here in less than a week. On his Facebook account with a caption reading "GET READY TO BURN," Zombie posted an image from the movie to mark the 3 from Hell trailer countdown. On the picture, "6 more days" is written with bloody letters, suggesting the trailer will arrive on Monday. As we've only gotten to see sneak peek images of the movie so far, it's needless to say that there's a lot of anticipation to see the trailer, which will apparently be here in just a matter of days.

Rob Zombie has remained fairly tight-lipped about the movie's full plot details, but there are some things we know for sure. The movie serves as a direct sequel to House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects, further continuing the murderous adventures of the Firefly family. Because they were last seen in a deadly shoot-out with the police, surviving family members Captain Spaulding (Sid Haig), Otis (Bill Moseley), and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) were presumably killed at the end of the previous movie. 3 from Hell reveals the treacherous trio have all survived the incident and have since been indicted for their crimes. They'll be facing a judge to answer for their many murders, but knowing Zombie, chances are they'll be breaking free to continue their rampage once again.

Not that you would expect anything less, but 3 From Hell has been rated R for "strong sadistic violence, language throughout, sexual content, graphic nudity, and drug use." Another Rob Zombie trademark to return is the use of beloved horror stars in new roles, as familiar faces like Danny Trejo, Dee Wallace, Richard Brake, and Daniel Roebuck are all featured in the movie. We can expect to see at least a few random celebrity appearances as well, as Zombie previously revealed Chaz Bono is one of multiple bizarre cameos to be seen in 3 from Hell.

Released in 2003, House Of 1000 Corpses remains one of Zombie's most-appreciated movies. The 2007 follow-up The Devil's Rejects is also a popular favorite for the director. While he's told many other horror stories in between and after, it's clear his fans have taken to the Firefly family the most, which is what's making 3 from Hell Zombie's most anticipated movie yet. His last directorial effort came in 2016 with the slasher flick 31, telling the story of a gang of homicidal clowns forcing a group of carnies to play a deadly game.

3 from Hell does not have an official premiere date, though it's expected to be released sometime this year. Hopefully the trailer will at least have a targeted release window to give us an idea of when we can expect it. At the least, we'll all finally be able to check out some footage from the movie early next week. This information comes to us from Rob Zombie on Facebook.
