Rob Zombie is continuing the trailer countdown for his next movie 3 from Hell, providing a new image of Captain Spaulding with just four days left to go. Zombie first revealed the new trailer was coming in less than a week's time by announcing a six-day countdown to the trailer's release.

Posting a new image of Sid Haig in character on Instagram, bloody red letters remind fans that the trailer will now be here in just four more days. Because there has been a lot of anticipation for the upcoming horror, fans are ready more than ever to finally see some footage, and these sneak peeks are only making the trailer's release more exciting.

In the new image, Captain Spaulding appears to be wearing a prisoner's overalls. This is because the movie brings back the character and his fellow Firefly family members Otis (Bill Moseley) and Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) to face trial for their mass murder spree. Don't expect this to be a legal drama, however. Par for the course with Rob Zombie movies, the movie will be rated R due to "strong sadistic violence" and other extreme staples that make Zombie's projects what they are. Chances are, the Fireflys are going to escape from custody leaving a plethora of dead officers and civilians behind them, able to resume their heinous killings on the streets once again.

Given how much the movie is being talked about, 3 from Hell could possibly become Zombie's highest-grossing movie as a director. In addition to rebooting the Halloween franchise, Zombie has found some success with the Firefly characters. They were first revealed in the filmmaker's directorial debut in 2003, House of 1000 Corpses. Surviving family members were then brought back for The Devil's Rejects, which is considered by many fans to be among Zombie's very best movies. This is likely why Zombie opted to bring the characters back to make a trilogy, even though Baby, Otis, and Captain Spaulding were all seemingly killed in the end of the previous movie.

3 from Hell has been wrapped with filming for well over a year, but Zombie wasn't in a rush to push it into theaters. As a musician, the versatile entertainer had focused his efforts on a concert tour for his fans, leaving the movie on the backburner. Once the tour concluded, Zombie was able to pursue post-production for 3 from Hell, and the process has taken several months. Editing must be nearing its conclusion at this point with the trailer just days away from release, so hopefully the movie will still arrive in 2019 as has been expected.

There hasn't been an official release date yet revealed for 3 from Hell, but the trailer could provide a possible release window. In the four days while we wait, all we can do is speculate. Of course, once we all take a look at the footage from the movie for the first time, we'll be then left to speculate about other things until the project finally makes it to the big screen. For the sake of both Zombie and the fans, however, let's hope it turns out to be the best one yet.
