We're now less than two days from the premiere of the 3 from Hell trailer, and director Rob Zombie is nearing the end of his trailer countdown on social media. For the past several days, Zombie has been releasing sneak peek photos of the movie to hype the trailer's release, which previously included a new look at Sid Haig as Captain Spaulding. Today, on his Instagram account, Zombie has provided another peek at Bill Moseley as Otis Firefly with bloody text promising the trailer will be here in just 48 more hours. As you would expect, the bearded murderer is doused with blood, which is a sign of the violence to come in the movie. Zombie telling viewers, "I suggest you get ready to burn," in the caption signifies that as well.

Baby Firefly, played by Sheri Moon Zombie, has not been featured in the sneak peek photos so far. This likely means we'll get another early look at her character in tomorrow's trailer countdown image, if not one of the murderous trio together. So far, because we haven't actually seen any footage from the movie, all we've had to go on have been sneak peek photos such as these. It's been fun, but there's no doubt we're all finally ready to actually see the trailer. One more teaser image of Baby (or whoever else) is just fine, but I think I speak for everyone when I say we're at the end of our rope for waiting.

The full plot of the movie hasn't been revealed, but the trailer will more than likely provide a lot of new information. At this stage, what's known is that the three lead characters have all survived from their presumed deaths at the end of The Devil's Rejects, which saw them having a massive shootout with police officers. It's not up to the legal system to determine what happens to them next, as the three have been arrested to stand trial for the many murders they committed. This coincides with the hashtag #FreeTheThree Zombie has consistently used to promote the movie throughout its many updates. Of course, in the vein of the other movies we've seen from Zombie, we can expect the killers to break free to create mass chaos once again.

This is all speculation of course, but 3 from Hell could end up becoming Zombie's most appreciated movie. Its prequels House of 1000 Corpses and The Devil's Rejects are regarded by many to be among the director's greatest efforts as a horror filmmaker. Given his history with these characters and the popularity of those movies, there's at least the potential there for Zombie to knock it out of the park when he releases 3 from Hell. At the very least, we can expect it to be incredibly violent, able to satisfy the gorehounds.

We don't have a release date yet for 3 from Hell, but there may be one suggested in the trailer in two days. It's been expected to release sometime this year, so hopefully that will still be what ends up happening. You can take a look at the latest look at Otis below, thanks to Rob Zombie on Instagram.
