Producer Michael Roiff's new ensemble drama has picked up some fresh, able talent. According to Variety, Ludacris, Emilie De Ravin and Nick Cannon will be starring alongside one another in Ball Don't Lie.
The film revolves around a teen basketball prodigy trying to make it on the streets, where life is tough. Grayson T. Boucher was announced earlier this month as the lead.
Brin Hill is directing the screenplay, which he wrote with the help of Matt de la Pena. Matt wrote the original novel that the film is based upon.
Rosanna Arquette, Ricardo Chavira, Steve Harris, Evan Parke, Harold Perrineau, James Pickens Jr., Dania Ramirez, Matthew St. Patrick, Cress Williams, Mykelti Williamson and Robert Wisdom will also be appearing in the drama.
The film does not have a set start date.
