Walt Disney Pictures has bought the rights to Yosemite Three with the plans to turn it into a Tim Allen comedy.

According to Variety, the story revolves around a corporate employee that becomes bored with a nature hike while on a company retreat. Allen will play the jaded company man. He takes refuge in a bar with two other co-workers while the news of their disappearance makes headlines. The longer they stay missing, the more popular they become.

Michael Carnes and Josh Gilbert wrote the script. The duo recently made a lot of big budget script deals, having penned Mr. Woodcock and Furry Vengeance for New Line.

There is no word on when Yosemite Three will go into production.
