Robert Pattinson might be solidifying himself as a new fan favorite caped crusader with the release of The Batman, but Ben Affleck fans haven't given up on their dream of the solo Batfleck movie just yet. While there's been a lot of chatter online over The Batman along with the performances of its cast, such as Pattinson as the new Bruce Wayne, the hashtags #MakeTheBatfleckMovie and #Batfleck have still been trending on social media. This comes from fans calling upon Warner Bros. to reunite Affleck with Zack Snyder to make the film. "The Batman was great, solid 8/10. Runtime perfect for the story told, bar a couple of scenes that could lose a min here and there," writes one fan on Twitter. "For me, Battinson is very good but behind Batfleck, perhaps even Bale. Enjoyed alot, but still #MakeTheBatfleckMovie and #RestoreTheSnyderVerse."

Another tweet that's getting shared by many others using the aforementioned hashtags reads, "I enjoyed The Batman a lot. Robert Pattinson was great as the Dark Knight, his Bruce Wayne leaves something to be desired. The story was well written and seeing Batman solve a mystery was very enjoyable. Ben Affleck still takes the title as the best live action Batman."

An account dedicated to the Batfleck movie campaign also shared a screenshot of Zack Snyder liking a post made in support of #MakeTheBatfleckMovie. It noted, "The boss knows."

Batfleck Returns: DC Fans Are Thrilled to Have Ben Affleck Back as Batman
Warner Bros. Pictures

The good news for Batfleck fans is we haven't seen the last of him. The actor will be back once again in The Flash to don the cowl after it was previously thought that he never would again. He had spoken out about how miserable his Justice League experience had been for him. Though he was happy to come back one more time, it might be the last Batfleck appearance, as Michael Keaton appears to be taking over as the DCEU's Batman. In any case, Affleck feels that he finally figured out the role by the time he was done with The Flash, so maybe he'd be up for doing another film.

"I have never said this — this is hot off the presses — but maybe my favorite scenes in terms of Batman and the interpretation of Batman that I have done, were in the Flash movie," Affleck previously told The Herald Sun. "I hope they maintain the integrity of what we did because I thought it was great and really interesting — different, but not in a way that is incongruent with the character. Who knows? Maybe they will decide that it doesn't work, but when I went and did it, it was really fun and really, really satisfying and encouraging and I thought, 'Wow — I think I have finally figured it out.'"
