According to The Hollywood Reporter, erotic film director Tinto Brass (Caligula) recently announced that he is going to produce the world's first-ever 3D pornographic film.
Brass directed the 1979 film Caligula in collaboration with author Gore Vidal and magazine publisher Bob Guccione. He feels "the time is right for 3D technologies to be used to create an erotic film." Tinto claims that this will also be the first 3D film made in Italy.
This new project will "revisit an abandoned project about a Roman emperor that was ruined by Americans."
Tinto plans to start work on casting and the script immediately. He wants to start filming in May or June.
