Producing partners Tom Cruise and Paula Wagner are in the process of working on the War drama, The Fall of the Warrior King along side Paramount Pictures.

It's based on the New York Times Magazine article by foreign correspondent Dexter Filkins which centers on Lt. Col. Nathan Sassaman, an Army commander in Baghdad who resigned following a scandal in which men under his command caused the drowning of an Iraqi civilian, remarks Variety.

No one has said if Tom will star in the picture as well; Sassaman is currently in his early 40's, and the Mission: Impossible star is 43.

The Fall of the Warrior King will be written by Stephen Belber; no production schedule is set.
