Spider-Man: No Way Home star Tom Holland has suggested that another action-packed collaboration between his Peter Parker and the likes of Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire could happen in a future Spider-Man outing. Speaking with Variety, Holland did stipulate that he does not know whether it will happen, but assured Spider-Man: No Way Home fans that there is no reason why it couldn’t, shouldn’t, and wouldn’t.

"Could it happen? Of course, it could happen. We've done it once before. Will it happen? I don't know."

While it may happen, Holland is more than happy with the result of Spider-Man: No Way Home (as are audiences). The actor has seen the overwhelmingly positive response from fans and feels that what was achieved in Spider-Man: No Way Home is more than enough for him. “We have created something that has been such a culturally enriching experience for so many people, that watching those fan reactions to when Andrew [Garfield] comes through and Tobey [Maguire] comes through and Andrew saves Zendaya, I will never be able to live that down,” Holland said. “That is just incredible. And for me, to be able to share that with the world is enough.”

Andrew Garfield Has Also Revealed His Hopes to Reunite with His Fellow Spider-Men

Tom Holland is not the only one teasing another Spider-Man team-up, with his Spider-Man: No Way Home co-star Andrew Garfield also declaring his hopes to work alongside Holland and Tobey Maguire again. “I would love to continue to work with Tobey and with Tom,” Garfield said. “That three-brother dynamic is so juicy. But to be honest...I'm so happy and satisfied and grateful to be a part of this that it's hard to want more right now. I'm really trying to savor this moment with the fans, with the audience, and say thank you. I feel very very humbled and grateful for the response."

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been a huge financial success, and finds Tom Holland’s Peter Parker struggling to live with his secret identity exposed. In desperation, he turns to his friend and superhero colleague Doctor Strange, asking The Master of the Mystic Arts to use his magic and make everyone forget that Peter Parker is Spider-Man. Thanks to Peter’s infamous inability to stop talking, the spell goes wrong, opening up the multiverse and allowing several heroes and villains from prior Spider-Man franchises to enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Now that the multiverse has been unleashed on the MCU, audiences can expect to see many more variants going forward. There is no reason why Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield, and Tobey Maguire could not team up once again, and with the actors on board, the trio of Spider-Men swinging into action is starting to look more, and more likely.

Outside the MCU, Tom Holland can next be seen partnering with Mark Wahlberg in Sony’s video game adaptation, Uncharted. Directed by Ruben Fleischer from a screenplay by Rafe Lee Judkins, Art Marcum, and Matt Holloway, and based on the series of the same name developed by Naughty Dog, Uncharted is due for release on February 18.
