Ong Bak: Muay Thai Warrior star Tony Jaa has signed on to make his English-language debut in Fast & Furious 7. Details about the actor's role are being kept under wraps, but the actor released the following statement via email from his home country of Thailand.

"I have been a big fan of the Fast & Furious franchise. The films are fast-paced, fun and keep the audience involved. There is a great mix of humor and action, something I really appreciate. There is no better film to be involved in for a first U.S. studio production."

When asked whether or not he would get a chance to fight with Vin Diesel or Dwayne Johnson, and who would win in a fight between himself and either of the action stars, the actor had this to say.

"Having a chance to work with Vin Diesel and The Rock already makes me a winner."

Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham and MMA fighter Ronda Rousey are confirmed to star. James Wan is directing from a screenplay by Chris Morgan. Production will begin this September.
