Topher Grace is setting his 2007 up with two new comedies, Kids in America for Universal Pictures and Coxblocker for MTV Films.

Kids is about one night in the lives of a group of recent college grads in the late 1980s; Michael Dowse will direct. It follows Matt Franklin (Grace), an aimless college grad who pursues his dream girl at a wild Labor Day weekend party. Production Weekly says he, his twin sister and their best friend struggle with their burgeoning adulthood over the course of the night.

Topher will begin production on Kids in America in February in Phoenix, Arizona; he'll then head to the comedy, Coxblocker with Seann William Scott. Grace plays William Cox, who has trouble with women until he finally meets the girl of his dreams; her best friend is her ex-boyfriend (Scott). But Seann is trying to get back together with her, without her knowing. Greg Coolidge is writing and directing Coxblocker.
