The early reactions to Toy Story 4 are in and Keanu Reeves reportedly steals the show. Now, some behind-the-scenes video of the actor recording his Duke Caboom lines has surfaced online. Hearing that Reeves steals the show is not really too much of a surprise. Reeves is on a major roll right now with the recent release of John Wick 3: Parabellum, the upcoming Bill & Ted 3 production start, his cameo in Always Be My Maybe, Toy Story 4, and the recently announced Cyberpunk 2077 video game.

Toy Story 4 introduces Keanu Reeves' Duke Caboom. He is a former Canadian daredevil, known as Canada's greatest stuntman, who is a friend of Bo Peep's in the sequel. He has a pretty big personality and is really into his posing, which you can see Reeves voice in the booth. Despite being advertised as the greatest stuntman ever, the 1970s toy has never been able to really pull off all of his stunts in real-life and it has had a major impact on his life.

There are some tender moments with Duke Caboom in Toy Story 4, not just some bravado and swagger with a handlebar mustache. The movie marks the third time Keanu Reeves has voiced an animated character following the animated Bill & Ted series and The Animatrix. From the look of the video, the actor is completely at home recording his Caboom lines and appears to be having quite a bit of fun while doing so. When Reeves signed on to the project, he added a lot to the character on his own, helping to shape Caboom's personality and getting deeper into his backstory.

Keanu Reeves gives 100% effort when he dives into his various projects, which is more than likely why he gets respect from fans and his peers in the entertainment industry. Duke Caboom is just another character Reeves is helping to bring to the big screen with some added help to shape a personality. After all of his roles he has taken on over the years, it will be interesting to see him return to the Bill & Ted franchise, portraying one of his most well-known characters as a middle-aged man. If anyone can pull it off, it's Reeves and his co-star Alex Winter.

Toy Story 4 hits theaters on June 20th, which is just around the corner. Nearly all of the early reactions to the sequel have been positive, which may come to a surprise to some Disney and Pixar fans who did not want them to make a sequel. One of the more common compliments the movie has received is that it's necessary and a perfect ending to the Buzz and Woody story arc. There might be some more room for Duke Caboom to shine in the near future, along with the other new characters who have been introduced.
