Trainwreck has garnered plenty of praise leading up to its mid-July release in two weeks, but comedies haven't faired well against their genre counterparts at the summer box office. Perhaps that will all change with this hilarious outing from star and writer Amy Schumer, directed by comedy geek god Judd Apatow. A new preview goes deep inside the production of what is being called a different type of romantic comedy. And we get to see Amy Schumer on set as she brings the magic to life.

Ever since her father drilled into her head that monogamy isn't realistic, magazine writer Amy has made promiscuity her credo. As much as she enjoys an uninhibited life free of commitment, Amy is really in a rut. While writing a profile about charming and successful sports doctor Aaron Conners she finds herself actually falling in love for the first time -- and what's more, Aaron seems to like her too. Amy starts to wonder if it's time to clean up her act.

Trainwreck pairs Amy Schumer with the wildly talented Bill Hader, along with some surprise cameos from John Cena and LeBron James. Adding to the fun mix are the beloved Brie Larson and comedy masterminds Colin Quinn, Vanessa Bayer and Mike Birbiglia. Take a look at this sneak peek, and then take a break from all those effects-heavy summer genre blockbusters with Amy Schumer, who is obviously heading for one massive train car pile up that has the power to even kill off David Dunne.
