Actors Rosario Dawson and Vincent Cassel have joined the cast of Trance for director Danny Boyle.

The actors join James McAvoy in the primary lead roles of this drama, which centers on an art heist gone awry. James McAvoy and Vincent Cassel will portray the partners who concoct this elaborate scheme, while Rosario Dawson plays a woman who has an unusual relationship with both men. We reported earlier this month that Colin Firth was a contender for one of the lead roles, with Scarlett Johansson up for the main female role.

Danny Boyle will direct Trance from a screenplay by John Hodge. Production is scheduled to begin in September, before Danny Boyle starts working on the opening ceremony for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London this coming January. Danny Boyle will return to Trance in August 2012 to start editing, in hopes to complete post-production in time for a March 2013 release for Fox Searchlight.
