Transformers Comes Back to DVD on September 2nd

Two new standard editions will be available on the day of the film's Blu-Ray release.

You can get two new standard versions of your favorite robots in disguise this September. Transformers will be released in two separate standard versions on September 2, the day the film gets its Blu-Ray release. A bare-bones single-disc version, that comes with an Optimus Prime mask, will be available for $19.99 SRP and the two-disc version with a transforming Megatron DVD case, will be available for $29.99 SRP. The film stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel and Tyrese Gibson.

From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Unaware that he is mankind's last chance for survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart-pounding race against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before. It's the incredible, breath-taking film spectacular that USA Today says "will appeal to the kid in all of us."
