You might know Travis Barker from Blink-182 or even his solo projects. More recently, you have probably seen him in the spotlight with his girlfriend, Kourtney Kardashian. Now it seems the rock star is developing a new reality television series called Inked & Iced. According to DEADLINE, Barker has partnered with Bullish Content, which is run by former Kinetic Content exec Paul Lima, and This Is Just a Test Media, the company behind TLC reality series I Am Jazz, to help develop the show.

What Will Inked & Iced Be About?

The series will follow Barker's new business venture with "Diamond Dentist" Dr. Tom Connelly, featuring celebrities and musicians undergoing high-end diamond dental implants while receiving full-body tattoos, all while under anesthesia. The series was developed by Lima, who struck an overall production deal with Aengus James's This Is Just a Test Media, where he previously worked. His other development credits include TLC's Little Spouse on The Prairie and Discovery's Man vs. Bear.

"Inked and Iced is about self-expression, the human body as an art canvas, capitalism, eccentricity and entrepreneurship. Travis is a genius," said James. "It's the kind of out-of-the-box programming that Paul is tremendous at developing," Lima added. "We're thrilled to be following Travis and this innovative business as it launches and grows."

It looks like the drummer fell in love with the idea when he got his own pearly whites blinged out in January — an $8,000 upgrade thanks to a veneer embellished with a diamond skull, made by "the father of diamond dentistry," Dr. Thomas Connelly DDS. And Barker isn't stopping there. He told Connelly that he wants to do something else and loves how it looks. What that will be, only time will tell. It should also be noted that he received a barbed wire tattoo on his knee while the procedure was being done. He posted a pic to Instagram with the caption that read "Multitasking at the dentist🦷🩸." Later, he shared a picture of the new ink.

Travis Barker is no stranger to reality TV. The musician starred in MTV's Meet the Barkers, which ran for two seasons, and is expected to star in the Kardashians' upcoming Hulu series. The series is in early development and no premiere date has been announced at this time. Barker has been pretty busy on the music side these days as well. In November 2021, Barker signed former BMG artist Avril Lavigne to DTA Records, with her new release Love Sux dropped on February 25th and more coming soon. He is also working on another solo album that features several guest artists on vocals. In February 2021, he launched a line of cannabinoid-infused products called Barker Wellness. Barker is also going on tour with MGK soon and working on a soundtrack for an upcoming video game.
