Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake return in the first trailer for Trolls World Tour. We last saw the group in the 2016 musical animated hit and they're back for a brand-new adventure. However, this particular adventure takes them well beyond what they've known before, as both Poppy (Kendrick) and Branch (Timberlake) discover there is more to life than just their tribe. There are six different Troll tribes scattered over six different lands and they are devoted to six different kinds of music including, Funk, Country, Techno, Classical, Pop, and Rock.

Trolls World Tour features members of hard-rock royalty, Queen Barb (Rachel Bloom) and her father, King Thrash (Ozzy Osbourne). Together, they want to destroy all other kinds of music to let rock be the musical genre to rule them all. Osbourne's hit solo song "Crazy Train" is played twice in the trailer, giving you an idea of what's going on here. With the fate of the whole world at stake, Poppy and Branch, along with their friends including, Biggie (James Corden), Chenille (Caroline Hjelt), Satin (Aino Jawo), Cooper (Ron Funches), and Guy Diamond (Kunal Nayyar), set out to visit all the other lands to unify the Trolls in harmony against Barb, who just wants to rock.

While there is a lot of music featured in the Trolls World Tour trailer, much of it is centered on the hard rock aspect of Queen Barb and King Thrash. In addition to the iconic riff of Ozzy Osbourne's "Crazy Train," the Scorpions' hit song "Rock You Like a Hurricane" is also utilized, letting fans know there's going to be a lot more going on this time around than just the pop music from the first installment. 2019 and 2020 brings Ozzy right back into pop culture after decades of being perceived as a monster.

Since Trolls World Tour is taking on various different types of music, including the hard rock category, the cast has been expanded greatly. Representing the land of Funk is Mary J. Blige, George Clinton and Anderson .Paak. As for the Country genre, Kelly Clarkson stars as Delta Dawn, with Sam Rockwell as Hickory, and Flula Borg as Dickory. J Balvin introduces the Trolls to Reggaeton, while Ester Dean adds even more Pop music to the equation. Anthony Ramos represents Techno and Jamie Dornan covers smooth jazz. Gustavo Dudamel appears as Trollzart and Charlyne Yi as Pennywhistle from the land of Classical. As an added bonus, the world of Hip Hop is represented by Kenan Thompson as Tiny Diamond.

Trolls World Tour hits theaters in April 2020, so there's still a pretty long wait ahead of fans who enjoyed the first movie so much. All of the fan-favorite characters are returning with their original voices along with a brand-new cast set to inform the world about other types of music. It's a clever idea, but there is a massive cast, leaving one to wonder how everything will be represented. If the trailer is any indication, DreamWorks is doing a pretty good job.
