Michael Finkel (Jonah Hill) gets a surprising phone call from the man who has been using his identity in our exclusive clip from True Story, debuting on Blu-ray and DVD today from Fox Home Entertainment. As the title suggests, this drama is based on a True Story, with Jonah Hill portraying a disgraced journalist who lands the story of a lifetime, at a time when no newspaper in the country will hire him. Felicity Jones is also featured in this scene as Finkel's girlfriend, Jillian Barker.

Academy Award Nominees James Franco and Jonah Hill star in this mesmerizing thriller from co-writer and director Rupert Goold, based on a chilling real-life story. After journalist Michael Finkel is fired from The New York Times for embellishing a story, he learns that accused murderer Christian Longo (James Franco) has been claiming to be him. Hoping this story will save his career, Finkel begins interviewing Longo in prison. But soon, the men find themselves in an eerie game of cat and mouse in this psychological drama that also stars Oscar Nominee Felicity Jones.

The True Story Blu-ray and DVD include special features such as an Alternate Ending, Deleted Scenes, Mike Finkel Featurette, Who is Christian Longo?, The Truth Behind True Story, The Making of True Story, Audio Commentary by Director Rupert Goold and a Photo Gallery. Rupert Goold also co-wrote the screenplay with David Kajganich. The director made his feature film debut with 2010's Macbeth, while the screenwriter also wrote three upcoming remakes, The Stand, Pet Sematary and Escape from New York.

The supporting cast includes Ethan Suplee, Genevieve Angelson, Gretchen Mol, Maria Dizzia, Betty Gilpin, Robert John Burke and Joel Garland. True Story had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January, before Fox Searchlight Pictures released the drama in theaters this past April. The film only made $4.7 million during its theatrical run, but it was released in only 831 theaters nationwide. With today's True Story Blu-ray and DVD release, fans all over the country will finally get to see this incredible story unfold.
