Following the first look photo that debuted earlier this week, Fox Searchlight Pictures has released the trailer for True Story ahead of its debut at the Sundance Film Festival next month. This Is the End stars Jonah Hill and James Franco reunite for a gripping drama that is, naturally, based on an incredible true story that puts a whole new spin on "identity theft."

Jonah Hill stars as New York Times journalist Rupert Goold, whose career at the newspaper came to an end after he falsified accounts in a story about impoverished teenagers in West Africa. It's worth noting that Finkel's admission didn't quite make huge headlines, since one week later, the New York Times was embroiled in the Jayson Blair plagiarism scandal. James Franco stars as Christian Longo, an FBI Most Wanted List murderer who for years lived outside the U.S. under Finkel's name. After he is imprisoned for killing his wife, Longo reveals he will only talk to Finkel, as both men realize they can benefit from one another.

Felicity Jones, Ethan Suplee, Gretchen Mol and Betty Gilpin co-star in this upcoming drama. Rupert Goold directs based on Finkel's biography, with the film arriving in theaters nationwide April 10, 2015. In addition, we also have the first one-sheet, which you can check out below the trailer.
