Gavin Polone and Jamie Tarses are developing a comedy based on the blog by Tucker Max for Comedy Central and Sony Pictures TV.

The show is inspired by the exploits of the Duke Law School grad who runs a blog chronicling his boozing and womanizing. www.TuckerMax.com|Tucker's Blog has already spawned the New York Times bestseller, I Hope They Serve Beer in Hell, says Variety. Max introduces himself on the home page of his blog by saying: My name is Tucker Max, and I am an a**hole. But, I do contribute to humanity in one very important way: I share my adventures with the world.

Max also appeared on MTV's True Life about Internet dating. The Comedy Central series will be based on Max and his group of friends, all overachieving young professionals as they begin the transition into mature adulthood. Max, who is writing the pilot script and will be a co-exec producer, said the show will be a happy medium between the wild stories that populate his blog and the everyday reality of being a young guy.

Tucker Max's Comedy Central show will air next year.
