TV Guide Channel will air a special marathon of the new FOX drama Standoff," recapping the first four episodes of the series starring Ron Livingston and Rosemarie DeWitt. Hosted by Livingston and DeWitt, the marathon will air on Sunday, October 29, from 3:00-7:00 p.m. ET/PT, and give fans new and exclusive insights into their characters and the show. The announcement was made today by Ryan O'Hara, President of TV Guide Channel.

"TV Guide Channel is excited to partner with FOX and give fans of Standoff the opportunity to go back to the beginning of this new and exciting show and re-live the plotlines, while also providing an opportunity for new fans to get involved with the series through our review and preview capabilities," said O'Hara.

The series revolves around MATT FLANNERY (Livingston) and EMILY LEHMAN (DeWitt) as hostage negotiators who mix business and pleasure in the FBI's Crisis Negotiation Unit (CNU). They are sleeping together, a secret that was revealed in the first episode. Their boss, CHERYL CARRERA (Gina Torres), isn't thrilled with the revelation, because it raises eyebrows among their CNU colleagues including LIA MATHERS (Raquel Alessi), but Flannery and Lehman are too strong a team to be split up.

The two negotiators must deal with their personal relationship while they also try to resolve high-stakes situations on the job, including kidnappings, bomb threats and stalking cases. They work in tandem with the Hostage Rescue Team (HRT) led by FRANK ROGERS (Michael Cudlitz) and his sarcastic cohort DUFF GONZALEZ (Jose Pablo Cantilo). When MATT and EMILY'S more peaceful approach doesn't work, FRANK and his team are ready to use full force. Standoff advances a fundamental idea: that in life and in love, "everything is a negotiation."

Standoff returns with an all-new episode in its time period premiere Tuesday, Oct. 31 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on FOX. Created and executive-produced by Craig Silverstein (The Dead Zone) and Tim Story ("Fantastic Four," "Barbershop"), Standoff is a 20th Century Fox Television Production.
