Summary
MTV Unplugged is a TV series showcasing popular musical artists playing acoustic instruments. The show has received the George Foster Peabody Award and 3 Primetime Emmy nominations among many accolades. Since 2000, the Unplugged format has been revived on a number of occasions for specials, as well as appearing on MTV sister networks, VH1 and CMT.
