The beloved Langston Hughes stage play comes to life on the silver screen for the first time in Black Nativity. This contemporary adaptation follows a single mother (Jennifer Hudson) who sends her son (Jacob Latimore) to spend the holidays with his grandparents (Forest Whitaker and Angela Bassett), whom he's never met. Fox Searchlight Pictures has released two featurettes for this drama, the first of which focuses on the music with director Kasi Lemmons and recording artist/producer Raphael Saadiq. The second video features several cast members such as Forest Whitaker, Jacob Latimore, Angela Bassett, Mary J. Blige, Tyrese Gibson and more. This musical arrives just in time for the holiday season, hitting theaters November 27.
