This holiday season, Mary Poppins fans get to witness how this beloved classic almost never saw the light of day in Saving Mr. Banks. Walt Disney Pictures has released two photos, featuring Tom Hanks as Walt Disney and Emma Thompson as Mary Poppins author P.L. Travers. We also get a glimpse at supporting cast members B.J. Novak and Jason Schwartzman as musicians Robert B. Sherman and Richard M. Sherman and Bradley Whitford as screenwriter Don DaGradi. Directed by John Lee Hancock (The Blind Side), Saving Mr. Banks hits theaters on December 13.
