Instead of ditching over a hundred design concepts in order to come up with that one perfect The Dark Knight Rises poster, Warner Bros. is releasing every single prototype, basically flooding the market with campaign material in these last few weeks leading up to the release of Christopher Nolan's epic finale. Good news for fans is they'll likely get multiple posters and banners every single day. Bad news is, some of these are going to be quite lackluster. Take today's two banners for example. They're basically images of Batman and Catwoman we've already seen, though with a red, white, and black color motif behind them. Check them out in preparation for the Legend's end, and know better stuff is most certainly on the way.
In related news, we have the cover and synopsis for the children's book Batman Versus Catwoman, which is note worthy for giving away a crucial plot point. Check it out, and then read on for a spoiler (if you dare)!
"There's a ferocious feline in town, and she's out to steal from Gotham's wealthy citizens. Unfortunately, Catwoman makes a mistake when she visits venerable citizen Bruce Wayne and takes Bruce's prized family heirloom. She thinks she made a clean escape . . . but she doesn't know who she toyed with!"
