According to various reports, Ubisoft may be in the early stages of developing a movie based on its upcoming video game Watch Dogs.
The studio dropped clues about a potential film by registering a handful of domain names including WatchDogsmovie.com and WatchDogsthemovie.com. We /tom-clancys-splinter-cell-headed-for-the-big-screen/reported late last week that the video game studio also has plans to bring Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell to the big screen.
The Watch Dogs game is set in Chicago, the location of a supercomputer known as "CtOS" (Central Operating System). The plot follows a highly skilled hacker named Aiden Pearce as he attempts to assassinate a media mogul named Joseph DeMarco after he was wrongly acquitted of murder charges.
Nothing has been confirmed about the movie, but the game will be released in 2013.
