Production on the third season of Netflix's The Umbrella Academy is now underway, with actor Justin H. Min sharing a cast photo of himself and the rest of the mysterious members of The Sparrow Academy. Each of them is wearing a rather fashionable looking shellsuit with the logo for The Sparrow Academy emblazoned across the chest, with Min captioning the photo with an ominous "let the games begin." Sadly, the image does not include the Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube, and so we continue to wonder how this member of The Sparrow Academy would have worn the same jacket.

Beginning in 1989, The Umbrella Academy details a highly unusual occurrence wherein forty-three infants are inexplicably born to random, unconnected women who showed no signs of pregnancy the day before. Seven are adopted by Sir Reginald Hargreeves, a billionaire industrialist, who creates The Umbrella Academy and prepares his "children" to save the world. Unfortunately, not everything goes according to plan. In their teenage years, the family fractures, and the team disbands, before being forced to unite once again to stop the imminent apocalypse.

Based on Gerard Way and Gabriel Bá's Dark Horse comic book series of the same name, both seasons of The Umbrella Academy have been met with largely rave reviews and high viewing numbers for the streaming giant.

The final moments of the second season found the Hargreeves' adventures leading them into an alternate timeline wherein they come face-to-face with the shadowy figures of The Sparrow Academy. While their identities remained a mystery come the series end, several details have now been revealed giving audiences a better idea of what to expect.

As shown in the image shared by Justin H. Min, The Sparrow Academy are made up of himself, Justin Cornwell, Britne Oldford, Genesis Rodriguez, Cazzie David, and Jake Epstein. Oh, and the Existential Dread Inducing Psykronium Cube, of course.

Min will reprise the role of Ben, who has gone through some changes in this alternate timeline. No longer "the sweet Ben we know and love," he is now Number 2 and has become a "Machiavellian tactician, wrapped up in a pretty boy body with a rumbling inner-squid. Vicious, pragmatic, and hyper-vigilant- Ben is determined to gain his status as the leader at all costs."

Justin Cornwell's Sparrow Academy member, Marcus, is Number 1 and is described as a "charming, chiselled, colossus." Britne Oldford meanwhile stars as Fei, who is Number 3, and is "the smartest person in the room." Genesis Rodriguez plays Number 5, Sloane, who described as "a romantic and a dreamer." Number 4, Alphonso, will be played by Jake Epstein, and is an "ace fighter" who prefers to "verbally battering anyone foolish enough to get in his face." Alphonso spends most of his time with Cazzie David's Number 6, Jayme, who likes to let her "fear-inducing snarl" do the talking for her.

Number 7's name is Christopher, and they will be played by, well, a cube. The most formidable member of The Sparrow Academy, Christopher "can turn the room freezing cold and induce paralyzing fear," and acts as the family mediator. It is not known whether Christopher will get his own matching tracksuit.

Both seasons of The Umbrella Academy are now available on Netflix. Production on season 3 has now begun, with showrunner Steve Blackman recently revealing the upcoming season premiere title to be "Meet the Family". This comes to us courtesy of Justin H Min's official Twitter account.
