It seems audiences are going to have to wait a little bit long to see Benecio del Toro in full wolf-mode. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal Pictures has delayed the release of The Wolfman yet again, moving the film from its November 6 release to February 12, 2010.

The studio cited, in part, post-production work that would need longer to complete for the film's marketing campaign, even though a trailer is still scheduled to hit theaters on August 21. The film will now open in a crowded President's Day weekend lineup that includes a 3-D re-release of Beauty and the Beast, Robert Pattinson's Remember Me, Jessica Biel and Bradley Cooper's Valentine's Day and Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Lightning Thief.

Universal has slotted The Fourth Kind in the November 6th slot and the Matt Damon film Green Zone, which reunited the actor with director Paul Greengrass, has been given a March 12, 2010 release date. The studio also handed out release dates for MacGruber (April 16) and the Judd Apatow-produced Get Him to the Greek (June 11).

The Wolfman stars Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Emily Blunt, Hugo Weaving, Art Malik and will hit theaters nationwide on February 12, 2010.
