Universal Pictures is going to turn Sascha Rothchild's L.A. Weekly cover story How to Get Divorced by 30 into a feature film. According to Variety, Marc Platt and Dana Fox will produce this romantic comedy.

The plot is based on the disintegration of Rothchild's own marriage, as well as the divorces of five other friends. The main message of the film will be that its best to have a starter marriage, with the original article listing fifteen steps in ending your first marriage.
