Dozens of stars representing a cross-section of the horror genre joined worldwide media on the red carpet for the 2010 Eyegore Awards, honoring stars of the horror genre and kicking off the 17-night Halloween Horror Nights event at Universal Studios Hollywood.

Filmmaker/actor Eli Roth, Christopher Lloyd, veteran horror icon Sid Haig and Saw 3D stars Betsy Russell and Gina Holden were honorees at the Eyegore Awards ceremony. Other celebrities participating in the show included host Corey Feldman and award presenters Rob Zombie, Tobe Hooper, Mariana Klaveno of True Blood, Costas Mandylor of Saw 3D and Denzel Whitaker from the cast of Wes Craven's My Soul to Take.

The genre starpower served as a perfect complement to the movie-themed mazes, scare zones and "Terror Tram" attraction that make Halloween Horror Nights the event where horror legends truly come to life.
