We haven't heard much about the Untitled Tron Legacy Sequel lately, though now it seems Tron: Legacy star Jeff Bridges may return as Kevin Flynn.

Tron: Legacy screenwriters Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis recently gave a cryptic answer when asked if Kevin Flynn and Tron will return in the Untitled Tron Legacy Sequel.

"I would say the definition of life and death in the digital realm... will be explored in the sequel!"

We reported back in June that David DiGilio will write the Untitled Tron Legacy Sequel script. Adam Horowitz and Edward Kitsis will only co-produce the sequel, due to their production schedule on the ABC series Once Upon a Time, which they both co-created.

Although Tron: Legacy director Joseph Kosinski has not been confirmed to direct the Untitled Tron Legacy Sequel yet, it seems he is involved in the project, to some extent. Here's what Edward Kitsis had to say below, confirming the first draft of the sequel script is complete.

"David DiGilio is writing it. Joe (Kosinski) is right now shooting Horizons but we've had a lot of meetings and conversations and we've seen the first draft of the Tron sequel. Sometimes movies don't happen as quickly as you want. Our hope is to get something going sooner [rather than later]."
