Following the success of horror anthologies V/H/S and V/H/S/2, Epic Pictures, The Collective and Bloody-Disgusting are teaming up for the next installment, entitled V/H/S/ Viral. The story of V/H/S/ Viral centers on a group of teenagers obsessed with fame, who, unbeknowst to them, become involved in a viral internet sensation. Justin Welborn and Emmy Argo are the first confirmed cast members, with Todd Lincoln (The Apparition), Nacho Vigalondo (Open Windows), Marcel Sarmiento (Haunted), Gregg Bishop (The Other Side), Justin Benson (Resolution) and Aaron Moorhead (Resolution) each directing segments. The screenplay was written by all of the directors, along with T.J. Cimfel and Dave White.

Brad Miska and Gary Binkow will serve as producers. Here's what Epic Pictures CEO Patrick Ewald had to say about the project in a statement.

"It's an honor to bring cutting-edge horror to audiences around the world, and the fact that each film features the work of top genre filmmakers makes this franchise truly exciting. We're very proud to continue to be a part of V/H/S/ Viral."

Epic Pictures co-founder Shaked Berenson also released the following statement.

"We knew from the moment we saw the first film at Sundance that this sort of filmmaking was something we wanted to be a part of. It's a great way to showcase the work of genre masters, which is why the V/H/S franchise resonates with horror fans."
