According to The Hollywood Reporter, VH1 has placed orders for several new projects this spring.

Moving into "makeover" territory, the cable company is making Transform Me and the dating advice limited series Undateable. The shows are going to focus on giving viewers ways to improve their lives.

Transform Me will feature eight 30-minute episodes and it will premiere March 15. Laverne Cox (I Want to Work for Diddy) is going to lead the makeover team that will give women an "inside and out" transformation.

Undateable will be an advice show that is based on the upcoming book "Undateable: 311 Things Guys Do That Guarantee They Won't be Dating or Having Sex." The show is going to have a five-night run that starts April 19.

Other shows that VH1 is bringing out are Famous Crime Scene. This is a seven-episode half-hour series that looks at the deaths of celebrities like Tupac Shakur, John Lennon and Michael Jackson. The first show airs February 12.

Lasty, originally airing on MTV Canada, VH1 will debut Peak Season: Vancouver in the U.S. It follows the lives of a group of young people at a ski resort. This 10-episode series is going to air February 14.
