Vin Diesel took to his Facebook page earlier today to reveal the first pre-production artwork for The Last Witch Hunter. The image in the upper right hand corner is the logo for this supernatural thriller, which we first reported on last March. Although it isn't known when production may begin, check out the artwork, along with the actor's brief message to his Facebook fans.
"I will fill you all in later... but this meeting went well."
Breck Eisner (The Crazies) is directing from a script by Cory Goodman (Priest, Apollo 18). The story follows an immortal witch hunter (Vin Diesel) who teams up with a witch to stop a coven from releasing a plague that could wipe out all of humanity.
Summit Entertainment and Emmet/Furla Films are producing and financing, although the project doesn't have a green light from the studio yet. It should also be noted that Vin Diesel will resume production on Fast & Furious 7 some time in the near future. The actor's co-star Kurt Russell revealed earlier this month that shooting will start back up again in April, but that has not been confirmed by Universal Pictures.
