Vincent D'Onofrio has signed on to play the villain in Jurassic World, with Irrfan Khan also joining the cast in an unspecified role.

The movie will be set on Isla Nublar, 22 years after the events seen in the original Jurassic Park, and the story will feature a brand new dinosaur that has never been seen before. The plot is rumored to focus on an actual working theme park that was first envisioned by John Hammond (Richard Attenborough), which attracts millions of visitors each year.

Vincent D'Onofrio and Irrfan Khan join a cast that also includes Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Idris Elba, Nick Robinson and Ty Simpkins.

Colin Trevorrow is directing from a script he co-wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing, although it isn't known when shooting will begin.

Vincent D'Onofrio most recently starred in Charlie Countryman, and he will next be seen in The Judge. Irrfan Khan is coming off of roles in The Amazing Spider-Man, Life of Pi and the upcoming indie drama The Lunchbox.
