Its true. CBS has canceled its musical drama series Viva Laughlin, making it the season's first new series to get the ax. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show was canceled after only two airings.

The series co-starred Hugh Jackman, and was based on a BBC program entitled Viva Blackpool. The show managed only minuscule ratings, bringing in less than seven million viewers during its first two airings.

CBS will air a rerun of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation in its time slot, before premiering its 12th season of The Amazing Race on November 4th.
