Disney+ streaming series Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda has debuted on the streaming platform as of today, Tuesday, February 28, 2023, and it showcases the extraordinary efforts behind composer and Ryan Coogler bestie Ludwig Göransson's score in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. The first episode, "Nigeria: Past is Present," is now streaming—subsequent episodes, "Mexico: Con La Brisa" and "London: Bring It Home," will begin streaming on March 7 and 14, respectively. Academy Award-winning composer Ludwig Göransson and filmmaker Ryan Coogler collaborated with musicians and artists from across the globe to craft the score for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, one of the most anticipated sequels in modern movie history that has so far done extremely well on the award circuit. The three-episode series Voices Rising: The Music of Wakanda Forever showcases how this extraordinary team pushed the boundaries of what a Hollywood score and soundtrack can be, creating an immersive, moving experience in the process.

Directed by Bernardo Ruiz, co-directed by Meji Alabi and produced by Serin Marshall, the three-episode series is executive produced by Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian, Zinzi Coogler, Peter Nicks, Ludwig Göransson, Kevin Feige, Brad Winderbaum, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jimi Adesanya, Justine Nagan, Bonni Cohen, Jon Shenk and Jeff Redmond. Co-producers are Lauren Goralski and Gaby Arvizu.

Rihanna Will Sing 'Lift Me Up' at the 2023 Academy Awards

After a game stealing half-time performance at the 2023 Super Bowl at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, the Barbadian superstar Rihanna is returning to the Los Angeles stage to perform "Lift Me Up" at the 95th Academy Awards, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, airing on ABC on March 12, 2023. Co-written by Tems, Ludwig Göransson and director Ryan Coogler, "Lift Me Up" is a tribute to the life and legacy of the late actor Chadwick Boseman, who died after a battle with cancer in 2020, and the importance of his role as King T'Challa, a.k.a. Black Panther, in 2018's Black Panther to the Black community.

Marvel Studios' Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Music From and Inspired By album, featuring the Academy Award-nominated song "Lift Me Up" performed by Rihanna, is now available on 12" Vinyl 2-LP (set) and can be streamed here. You can stream the film on Disney+ as well.
