Wal-Mart, with the help of Madison Entertainment, is getting into the holiday spirit.

In a story from Variety, the enormous retail chain and the production company have teamed up "on a series of direct-to-DVD" titles "of holiday-themed stop-motion animated pics."

The first title in the four DVD deal is Holidaze: The Christmas That Almost Didn't Happen. This film will get audiences familiar with a reindeer named Rusty who doesn't "understand" Christmas.

"It is written with the same kind of voice that is Toy Story or Shrek, " said Jak Severson, Madison Road CEO. "Parents will only buy it if they can stand to watch it 19 times in two days."

This new DVDs are slated to hit stores in November.
