Walmart has officially gotten into the downloading business.

In a story from Home Media Magazine, they announced that they have now made movie and TV downloads available via Wal-Mart.com.

The company had been testing a downloading service "and in November offered an exclusive Superman Returns DVD bundle that contained a download option with the purchase of the physical DVD."

The price to download movies is "$12.88 to $19.98 for new releases; $7.50 for select catalog titles. TV episodes sell for $1.96 per episode."

Some of the titles available for download include Hollywoodland, Flicka and Mission: Impossible 3.

The TV "offerings" include such shows as 24, Bones and Prison Break.
