If the character portraits released earlier today didn't give you The Walking Dead fix you so desperately need, then feast your eyes on the latest TV spot for the hit show's return with "What Happened and What's Going On", airing Sunday, February 8 at 9 PM ET on AMC. We already know that Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his band of survivors will be hitting the road to try and find a new home, and this footage shows the group scouting out several new locations, including some sort of large gated facility. This trailer also features praise from some of the nation's critics, some of whom think that Season 5 is the best ever.

After the tragic events of the mid-season finale - as well as losing the possibility of a cure in Washington, DC - Rick Grimes' band of survivors find themselves on the road, surviving day-to-day and trying to hold on to their shredded humanity and dwindling hope. Stripped of security and without a direction for the future, some of the group near their breaking point, some find themselves hardened and cold and some just try to grasp onto what little they have left. Though they are still breathing, the line between Rick's group and the dead is starting to blur. Could there be anything at this point that brings them back to life?

While we'll have to wait eight more weeks to see where the group will be at the end of Season 5, an extended clip released earlier this week teased that these survivors may be heading to Richmond, Virginia, where Noah (Tyler James Williams) planned on escaping to with Beth (Emily Kinney), before she was tragically killed in the midseason finale. Check out the latest footage, that should tide you over for a few more days until The Walking Dead returns this Sunday on AMC.
