Brian Nathanson's script The Occasionally Interesting Anti-Adventures of an Unnamed Girl has just been purchased by Disney. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott Rudin will be producing the film.

The script revolves around a young daydreamer who runs away from home, only to enter a dark fantasy world that is much scarier than she had originally imagined.

Disney is likening the project to such films as The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and The Wizard of Oz.

There is no word on when production would start.
