In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, no_people|Walter Parkes and no_people|Laurie MacDonald have bought an untitled action-comedy pitch from writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly.

The original idea came out of research Trevorrow did into the practice of how police departments recruit improv actors to help with low-level stings. The story follows three actors who are brought in to help bust a DVD-bootlegging operation. However, it turns out to be a front for more "nefarious activities," and the comedy trio finds themselves on the run from the crooks and the cops.

no_people|Walter Parkes and no_people|Laurie MacDonald recently purchased the forthcoming child-rearing book Eat, Sleep, Poop and the Web site the Museum of SuperNatural History.
