The summer movie season is almost here. And 2016 promises to be quite the exotic, sexy thrill ride, with plenty of sequels, superhero movies and comedies coming our way over the course of the next five months. Warner Bros. has one of the strongest studio lineups launching this April, and they will bring us a wide range of action and drama. They have nine new releases planned. They start off strong in April with the comedy Keanu, and everything comes to a close with the 'wham-bam-thank-you-mam' double-header of Suicide Squad and War Dogs. We have an exciting sneak peek thanks to Warner Bros.

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele get things off on a very happy foot. They star as cousins who lose a cat named Keanu, and they go through hell and back to retrieve this precious, cuddly feline. Warner Bros. keeps the good vibes humming through May, as they release the Shane Black comedy-thriller Nice Guys. It pairs Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe as a private eye and a hired enforcer trying to unravel the mystery behind a porn star murder.

Things take a serious turn in June, with the release of Me Before You. This unlikely romance pairs quirky Emilia Clarke with the shut-in Sam Claflin. If you've seen the trailers, you know this one's going to be a real tear jerker. Though, it promises to have quite a few funny moments as well. There's nothing funny about The Conjuring 2, though. Also coming in June, this promises to be the scariest movie of the summer. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson return as supernatural spirit chasers The Warrens, and this time they are investigating a real-life haunted house across the pond in London. The Warner Bros. release slate brings June to a close with the comedic pairing of blockbuster superstars Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson and comedian Kevin Hart, who team up to find a missing accountant.

July is time for high adventure, as Harry Potter director David Yates reinvents the King of the Jungle for a whole new generation. Alexander Skarsgård plays the title character in The Legend of Tarzan, with the sexy Margot Robbie taking on the role of a much more aggressive Jane. Cheetah will be along for the ride as well, alongside an all-star ensemble that also includes Samuel L. Jackson, John Hurt, Djimon Hounsou and Christoph Waltz. Also in July comes the second horror movie from producer James Wan, who is behind The Conjuring 2. This time, he conjures a dark and deadly apparition who only comes out in the dark of night. It promises to be the second scariest movie of the summer.

These hot months will all come crashing to a close with two of Warner Bros.' most anticipated 2016 releases. Suicide Squad brings together all of DC Comics biggest super villains for one impossible mission. And Batman will definitely becoming along for the ride. War Dogs recounts the true story of two young men who get in over their head when they enter the arms race and win a huge government contract to bring weapons in from across the globe. The movie is directed by Todd Phillips, the mastermind behind the Hangover trilogy. Here's a special look at all 9 of these releases along with new photos.
